  2. Step 2: Pick the Branch and Category. Some categories, such as Laptop, Desktop or Bike-Car, show extra fields for their details.
  3. Step 3: Choose the Tracking Type. Single item: one item with its own code, for example a laptop; quantity is always 1. Stock (multiple quantity): a pool of identical units, for example 50 headsets; you can issue any number.
  4. Step 4: Add the code, purchase date, warranty expiry, condition (New, Good, Fair or Poor), images and documents.
  5. Step 5: Click Save.

To add many at once, click Download sample import template, fill it, then use Bulk Import Assets and choose the branch to import into.

You can add your own categories under Assets → Categories. These apply to all branches, have no extra fields, and are not part of the bulk import.

Give or take back an asset

  1. Step 1: On the asset's row, click Assign/Return Asset.
  2. Step 2: Pick the employee, the quantity for stock items, and add a remark.
  3. Step 3: Save.
  • View History shows every assignment and return for that asset.
  • See who has this asset lists the current holders.
  • An asset that is with an employee right now cannot be deleted.

Employees see what they hold under My Assets. Admins can see the same from Employees → View Assets.
